Former Peloton CEO John Foley Moves From Selling Bikes to Rugs

Ernesta, which Foley started with two Peloton co-founders, will sell direct-to-consumer rugs cut to fit a shopper’s room

Former Peloton Chief Executive John Foley is trading exercise bikes for something closer to the ground: rugs. 

“It’s a little bit of a career shift,” said Mr. Foley, who left Peloton Interactive Inc. earlier this year. But, the entrepreneur added, he has always loved interior design, ripping out pages from design magazines for mood boards before the days of Pinterest.
